Becca came to our house early one Saturday morning and spent three hours capturing our girls at their best, in their home environment, in the natural morning light, doing what they love to do. As they jumped on the bed, read stories, cartwheeled around the garden and stroked the pet bunny she snapped away. The children were relaxed and happy (and by the end showing off a bit too). Becca edited the hundreds of photos and showed the best to us in a movie, at home. She sat patiently as we poured over them in delight and even shed a few tears of pride. She guided us through the options and advised us gently as to what would work in size and frames. We are so pleased with the way she captured our children’s beautiful spirit and thrilled with the finished products. Many thanks Becca.

My family sessions are mainly held on a weekend and are £250. This fee covers your initial consultation, the session itself and your post-session viewing and ordering appointment. The session fee does not include any products. These are purchased separately and are detailed here.

My shoots are fun. I don't just take photos of posed family ensembles, although we will capture those too. We get to play, hang out at home, go for a walk or visit a favourite place. I take the time to get to know you and to ensure that I create images that are unique to you.

After your initial enquiry

When you first get in touch with me, I will call you to discuss what you are looking for from my shoot and answer any questions that you may have. I will also let you know my current availability - weekends and school holidays book up quickly, so do get in touch early to avoid disappointment.

Before we meet

I want to make sure that you get the most out of our time together. One you have booked your session with me, I will send you a "What to Expect" guide. This will include tips on what to wear and how to get the most out of the session.

About a week before we meet, we can chat again to discuss choosing the best location(s) and you can tell me all about your family so I can tailor the shoot to you.

I want your session with me to be relaxed and enjoyable. This is the best way to get natural and authentic images.  I will lead you to the most flattering light and make suggestions as to how to position yourselves. Then I will just let you be you.

This is a chance to hang out with your family. Do some of the things you love.  I allow plenty of time for our shoots (around three hours). So there is plenty of time for snack breaks, nappy changes, cups of coffee. You have already told me all about your children, so I will know how to get the best out of them.

My clients love photography and they love the process after the shoot. First of all, you get to sit back, safe in the knowledge that I have captured some gorgeous memories of your family. I will spend my time selecting around 40 images which I will carefully edit.

Choosing your Wall art and Albums

A few days after your photography session, I will call to arrange an appointment to come to your home for your viewing and ordering appointment. I will bring wall art and album samples and we can look at suggested album designs, multi-aperture frames and gallery sets. I will help you with your image selection process using software to help me show you how your images would look on your wall in different frames.

It's a great experience and there are often tears. Please rest assured, that there will be no hard sell. I want you to be happy with your images and to come back year after year to me.

Receiving your products

Your order will be placed, upon payment, the next day and you will receive your products around 6 weeks later. They will be beautifully packaged and a delight to receive and open.

You can then hang your printed artwork on the wall, flick through your heritage album and hand out the various gift prints and albums to family members - to enjoy forever! x
